Thank you so much, L. Me doing everything around the house, running all errands, and working full time doesn't compete with the high stakes work he does and he doesn't understand how hard I am working also because of his job. Dating in your teenage years will help you learn the kinds of things you value in another person. As someone born and raised in the church this has been very difficult to moderate and there is some social pressure to become more involved. Otherwise you're just denying them eternal salvation in their eyes. It's tough to date a med student let alone a resident. I know "Meet the Mormons" isn't what I'm looking for I went through a very similar experience earlier this year and the community was extremely helpful. What about the folks at church. Which is the highest place in heaven aka celestial kingdom. And of course, everyone has a different experience.
However, if you are a Catholic guy dating a Mormon girl, then remember that her parents may be averse to it. When my nephews started looking at porn on computers everybody blamed me when it wasn't me. Mormons can be pretty crazy without it.
Dont aggressively try to destroy her faith but bring up philosophical thinking points. Seems he's always on call or on a totally different schedule than I. However, "medical families" can work. It's not that she doesn't believe you right now, but it is a bone she will never drop. Put your best foot forward; be soft-spoken, courteous, well-mannered, chivalrous, and respectful.
Do you see yourself being with him for many years. There is no moral issue here. I am so happy about 'starting' our life together in a few months, but I feel like I am totally setting myself up for disappointment.
